emailSTRIPPER is a free program for cleaning the “>” and other formatting characters out of your emails. 

It will restore “forwarded” or “replied” emails back to their original state so they’re easier to read.

I have not used this program since I already am using ClipMate, but I get many requests from readers looking for a program to clean out e-mail messages.

To use emailSTRIPPER , just copy the text from your e-mail, use emailSTRIPPER to clean it up, and then you can paste the cleaned up text into a new e-mail or text document.
