Remove Favorites
Dear Computer Lady,
I just today found your Website, and it is absolutely the greatest, so easy to follow and understand your solutions, especially for a 70 year plus senior, that just recently purchased my first computer! Don’t know why I waited so long.
I noticed that I have duplicated a few programs or files in Favorites. I would like to know how to remove or delete them Could you help me?

Dear Jeanette,
It is easy to remove unwanted favorites.
If you are using the favorites menu in the menu bar:
1. Click on “Favorites” in the menu bar, and then right click on the favorite you want to remove.
2. In the drop down menu that appears, click on “Delete”.
If you are using the favorites sidebar in the left hand side of your Internet Explorer window:
1. Right click on the entry that you want to remove and click on “Delete” in the menu that appears.

Dear Computer Lady,
I love your suggestions on using my mouse more efficiently. A few weeks ago, you told us how to double click to make the screen larger and now this – how to delete a favorite. I have always gone to organize favorites, highlighted the one I wanted to delete and then clicked on delete in the menu. This is a much faster way.
I have used many of your other suggestions as well.
