Uninstall Programs
Dear Computer Lady,
How can I eliminate reminders from HP to register a printer which I no longer have?
Thanks for any help you can give me. This is very annoying to receive these reminders on an almost daily basis even though I check “do not remind me”..

Dear Mary,
Since you no longer have the printer, you should go into the Control Panel and un-install all the software that came with the printer.
You didn’t specify what version of Windows you are running, so I can’t give you step by step instructions.
If you are using Vista, here is how to uninstall a program:
Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
Select a program, and then click Uninstall at the top of the window.
