Elizabeth, you stated that CTRL SHIFT N in Windows 7 creates a new folder. Actually, that key combination creates a new note. The key combination for a new folder is CTRL SHIFT E.

I love your newsletter and I learn so many neat things from it. Keep 'em coming and thanks again!

Elizabeth, I am using WLM on a Vista OS. I was going thru the steps you gave but there is no 'Advanced tab' in properties. All my other Accounts have a setting to leave mail on server but not in my WLM. I don't know if other WLM users have this problem, too, but thought I would mention it.
Thanks! for all your great tips!!!

In my Documents folder in Windows Vista Home Premium I used to have my PDF documents displayed with the red Adobe icon. I don't know what I did, but I'd like to know so I don't do it again.

I would like to have my Documents to go back to the previous way they were displayed which was a red Adobe icon for PDF documents and then other "like" documents had a different display.

The way it is now, the PDF files icon is being displayed with a small IE8 icon, and I don't like it as it doesn't stand out that much.

I've went into the 2 different "View" files but no matter what I do, I can't get my old display settings back.

Where can I go to change this, and I also need to know how they got changed; if it was something I did or something that was done automatically.

Warmly,
Corinne Larimore

I hope this reader didn't fall for a "scam" where they supposedly sell her a license, but in fact have no right to do so. Since she didn't use Micro$oft's link, this may be what happened.
I personalyy like Open Office, as I am not a full fledged office type person. Ooo and Thunderbird with the calendar add-on, and I have all I need!

Try going to the Control Panel and uninstall WinZip.
Or, Open 7zip first, and use the open menu to access your zipped file.
