I am running an new Dell Home Premium computer with Windows 7. Somehow Mahjong Titans.exe was put on the desktop. Now the .exe will not open. I don’t know where it resided before the desktop, so I cannot replace it. Do you have a fix for this issue? Thanks for your help. Your newsletters are terrific. I learn something new from almost every one.

Dear Shelia,

You should be able to fix this problem by un-installing the game, and then re-installing it. Here is how.

You first want to remove the rest of your Mahjong game.
1. Click on “Start”, then click on “Control Panel”.
2. In the Control Panel Window, click on “Programs”.
3. Under “Programs and Features”, click on “Turn Windows features on or off”.
4. A smaller dialog box will appear. Click the plus sign next to “Games”.
5. Click to remove the check mark in front of “Mahjong Titans” and click the “OK” button.
6. Wait while Windows removes the program.

I always like to restart the computer before re-installing the program, so restart the computer now.

To re-install the game follow these directions:

1. Click on “Start”, then click on “Control Panel”.
2. In the Control Panel Window, click on “Programs”.
3. Under “Programs and Features”, click on “Turn Windows features on or off”.
4. A smaller dialog box will appear. Click the plus sign next to “Games”.
5. Click to place a check mark in front of “Mahjong Titans” and click the “OK” button.
6. Wait while Windows installs the program.
